Soft Neutral Smokey Eye

Here's a step-by-step picture tutorial on how to get my Soft Neutral Smokey Eye! I wear this pretty often, its very similar to my last post, but using darker shades to make it more dramatic. I usually wear this during the day time when I go to work, but it works for night time too! :)

I started by priming my lids with Too Faced Shadow Insurance to help keep the colors from fading throughout the day. Then I used my flat eye shadow brush in Bare Minerals Silk Stockings and applied it all over my lid.

Take Bare Minerals eye shadow in In The Nude and apply it to the crease of your lid with a fluffy crease brush.

Then take a stiff crease brush and work Bare Minerals Spiced Fig into the outer portion of the crease to create depth and dimension.

Then you want to add a highlight under your eyebrows to brighten the look. Especially if your eyes tend to stay shadowy, a highlight is always a must. I'm using Bone eyeshadow by ULTA and a fluffy highlighter brush.

Next, using Avon's Ultra Luxury Eye Liner in Black, line the inside of your top and bottom lids (this is also known as "tight lining").

Then line your top lash line with Maybelline's Lash Stilettos Liquid Eye Liner in Black. For a more dramatic look, make a winged tip at the outer corners.

Finally, curl your lashes and add your favorite mascara. I'm using Mary Kay's Lash Love Mascara in I <3 Black.

As always, thanks for visiting! Leave any comments, questions, or requests down below :)

My Everyday Natural Eye

As always, I started off my priming my lids with Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I used a flat eyeshadow brush and applied Bare Minerals Chic Nude all over my lid.
I then took a fluffy crease brush and applied Bare Minerals Silk Stockings to the crease of my lid, starting at the outer V and working my way in toward the center of my crease.

Next, I applied Bare Minerals In The Nude eyeshadow in my outer crease with a stiff crease brush.

Then, using a fluffy crease brush, I applied ULTA's Bone eyeshadow underneath my brow bone to highlight.

Using Avon's Ultra Luxury Eyeliner in Black, I lined the outer halves of my top and bottom lid. Stay VERY close to your lash line for both. You want it to look soft.

Finally, finish off with your favorite mascara. I used Mary Kay's Lash Love Mascara in I <3 Black.
That's the completed look! I'll have a video tutorial up on my Youtube page in a few days hopefully. Comment with any requests or questions that you have! :)
